Our daily chore has been picking our Apricots...and we have TONS of them....we (meaning Kyle) picks about 40 a day and we still have about 20 that drop on the ground. They are super yummy and we can't get enough of them....however at the same time we can't eat them fast enough :). It has really been nice buying a home with fruit trees (we didn't know it when we bought it) but we have like 3 lemon trees (don't really do anything for me), 1 apricot, 1 Fig (yuk...but my mom said she may make Kyle fig newtons) and 1 peach (we think...or nectarine). We also have a mommy bird and her two baby birds that just hatched living in our Apricot tree. Jeremiah loves looking at his "momma bird" and she always puffs up if Kyle gets to close on accident...we always forget she is there since she is at our eye level on a branch.6.01.2009

Cute - you will have to google making dried figs - I love eating dried figs my aunt makes from her fig tree - so yummy and if you don't like them you can make them for Xmas presents or something! Also fresh lemonade with those lemon trees lady! Who doesn't like fresh lemonade?
