We went to see a pediatric orthopaedic doctor and he said that there are two areas that are broken....both near his ankle and they are in the Tibia and Fibula. They are not a horrible break and because of that he only has to have the cast for 4 weeks and gets to wear a walking boot (thank you LORD). They will check him weekly to make sure that he is doing ok and they will also check him monthly for 3 months to make sure his bones grow as they should. The doctor said that he broke his leg probably because of the way he landed on it....he said otherwise his bones look great. He also said he shouldn't have any problems walking after it is taken off because he gets to walk on it the entire time. He still prefers to crawl as of now....however he has taken a bunch of steps and they don't seem to bother him...it seems like the cast is really making him feel better. Once again thank you for all the prayers.
