With all of my Christmas money this year and a little added in from Kyle (my gift from him) I purchased a lens that I have had my eye on for about 5 months. It is a.....Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM AutoFocus Standard Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras (it is like a macro lens). It has great reviews and I am really enjoying it so far. The only part that is difficult is learning to shoot with a "fixed lens" and not having a zoom in/out. It shoots really detail shots and is a lot of fun to play around with. I posted below some fun pictures that I have taken with the camera today while around the house...I have only had it for like 2 hours so far....still learning to use it.
