Jeremiah's 1st Birthday Party....

Hey Everyone,

Jeremiah's Birthday was AMAZING....we had a great turn out (like 48 people) and it seemed like everyone had a wonderful time. Since there were so many different areas of Bob & Lynda's home it didn't seem like an overwhelming number of people but just the right amount. About 44 of those invited were family....yikers we sure do have big families. All 4 sets of Great-Grandparents were there (how amazing is that for Jer) and both sets of Grandparents were there also (my poor mom was sick though). Jeremiah had a great time even though he started coming down with a cold that morning (so did me and Kyle). My mom, my sister Melody, Kyle's cousins, the Grubbs and Kyle's aunt and uncle were all not able to make it due to this darn cold that has been going around. We definitely missed everyone that couldn't make it :(. Jeremiah got a TON of wonderful stuff...thanks everyone and I am currently working on the thank you cards. Everyone (specifically the kids) really enjoyed the slide and truly used it for probably 5 hours straight....I don't even think they ate. Jeremiah really started to enjoy it around 4:30 and would scream as soon as we would get off the slide with him. Kyle ended up taking Jer on the slide for probably a good hour at the end of the day. Jeremiah ended up taking a nap right around the "cake" time so we ended up not doing the "Smashing of the cake" and will postpone it until it stops raining and we can do it in our backyard. The slide show is really long (8 minutes) and that was cut down from the 400 pictures that were taken.
